    Based on how much taxes we paid-all other licenses should be free as well.

    I got stopped by two rangers a few years back. Had my sister with me. We are both retired. They drive a pretty fancy boat ( mine is faster ). First words out of their mouths was a request to see the fishing license. I refused, then laughed out loud and stated that I didn't need one anymore. Of course they didn't believe me. I look a lot younger than I am and my hair is still red. After proving it with my driver's license, we had a few chats while they requested to see all the safety stuff. Of course I had it all and yes, we were wearing PDF's. Hydrostatic ones. Nice couple of guys.
    The world is 70% water, might as well fish it.
