These hearty, filling soup recipes are easy to prepare in advance and can be doubled and frozen for later.
What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

Nothing like a hot thermos of home made soup on a cold day. Don't forget a spoon.

I think my wife would divorce me if I ever stopped making homemade soup? Without a bit of shame, I can say I am soup maker extrordinaire!
Sadly, soup season is almost to a close, as warm spring weather is upon us.

The only soup I eat these days is what I make. I love it in the winter, usually for breakfast at work.

A couple of years ago for Father's Day,the kids got me a Thermos stainless steel widemouth just for soup and stew. I even put cooked hot dogs in it Now,along with my regular Thermos, they're my most important pieces of kit. There's just nothing like a good stick-to-your-ribs hot meal when it's really cold out in the bush or on the lake.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
