As has been posted by a member of that camp, these hunters only get a few days to hunt in this very long season I will assume because they are very busy people. So the odd's of over crowding are about zero IMHO.
32 acres too gun hunt is sufficient. I'll remember that this fall when all the cries of "If you find someone on crown land move on".
The only argument against the extension is " If I can't do it no one should". Not the argument usually bantered that hunters should stick together and support each other. Guess they could start the chant "If they shorten our season they'll come for yours next.

I'm guessing there is not a lot of enforcement there.

100 percent this is just wealthy connected guys that made it happen. Because it is on a private island, it was easily "justified".
You think there wasn't some healthy donations to Ford and perhaps the MNR.

That cannot be possible, tell me its not so, Why Doug said while running for election that he was GOING AFTER THE ELITES. LOL
But on a more serious note Griffith Island club was founded by Prime Minister John Robarts and some good Conservative friends back in the day. He was probably the very best leader we ever had in Ontario who also did so much for Canada and national unity.

I think you mean Premier 1961 - 1971. Way before my time I was only 2 (LOL) when he left and I lived in NB.
That would place you around 17?
The earliest Premier I remember is Hatfield in NB and it's debatable if he was good or not.
Prime Ministers the earliest I was around for was Trudeau, Carter then Mulroney plus everyone after like Kim Campbell

He was not Premier Robarts he was PRIME MINISTER ROBARTS and that was only changed after when Bill Davis decided there was only room for one prime Minister.
I was indeed about 17 years old when he was in power and not even in Canada at that time, however I have read much about his life and conclude he was one of the best leaders
that Ontario ever had, he built up the whole Province and education system. He shares his birth date with Sir John A MacDonald, Jean Chretien....
