Another good week to take off
Again this year the first Monday in November, AKA the start of gun season, falls durring the second week of November.
As such, the week immedialty prior to gun season will be a prime opportunity for bow hunters to be in the woods before the additional human intrusion and guns going off turn the deer nocturnal.
Records show many big bucks fall to bow hunters around halloween.
Vacation booked.

Agreed, that last week before gun week is always my favourite to hunt. Looks like gun week starts on Nov 6th this year. That Nov 4-5 weekend will be awesome

I have that week booked off as well...sometimes the weather is hotter than ideal, but the deer seem to be moving around more in day light

Totally agree. Only time he showed up during shooting light in front of my stand and it was halloween. BTW I wasn't in the stand.
