First Fawn Photo
I set up 8 trial cameras in early May and have been getting daily photos from 7 of them (1quit). Been getting photos of a few deer and bears every day. I’ve been wondering when the first fawn would show up and was rewarded yesterday.

Looking good. I pulled cards about 4 weeks ago and was hoping to see some fawns, but not yet

I hope they had an easy winter/spring this year.

Hi Rick, I would say that winter up in Unit 10 was probably a bit worse than “average”. Spring was delayed a few weeks and was cooler. Usually I set up my trail cams by the end of April. This year, it was early May. I’m not expecting a bounce-back in terms of deer numbers this year… probably the same as last year.
