What type of knife are you using..
Basically, as the title says, what kind of knife do you use to field dress your animal? Do you use a fixed blade?, folding blade? What are some of the brands does everyone use?

I’ve been using a Buck 121 for 40 years.
Someone gave me one of those knives with the disposable razor-sharp blades but I have yet to try it out.

In my limited experience I have come to the conclusion that a small cheap knife is best. They require sharpening more frequently but thats not an issue for me.

Schrade oldtimer folding lock blade. I like a pointed blade and schrades hold an edge really well for the price.

Been using a Buck pursuit for 20+ years now. It's been a fantastic knife and holds an edge well
for butchering I use VictorianOx knives

I use a cheap CTS 4" fixed blade. I have tried longer fixed blades but I find the shorter the better for me.
