Default Deer are changing their patterns

Iím getting fewer photos of deer at my mineral licks. In fact I havenít gotten a buck photo since they shed their velvet. Most the fawns have lost their spots too. The countdown is on!

I find in my area salt licks can get hit throughout the year, or sometimes not at all. Late season corn is usually a favourite.

My mineral sites shut down about this time as well. Young bucks, does and fawns may visit until mid October
