    Made it out Monday morning.

Had a group of 4 does come by at 8am but they stayed in the thick stuff. They just needed to take 3 more steps but didn't happen.
Then at 10:30 a nice 8 point came by and again stayed behind some thick stuff.

All in all a great day when you see 5 deer in bow range.

yesterday both my cameras were going crazy. 5 Does, and 4 turkeys, the Tom strutting for the ladies, other camera had 2 bucks go by all deer from legal to 1030 and where was I Thanksgiving dinner and cards with oldest boy out of town. I was going to hunt but family first.

Today out to where the 2 bucks where and nothing at that spot or at the other that had all the Does and turkeys. Seems to be the way it always goes.

I had my usual hunt 'strategy' play out, busted a deer on the way in, sat in my saddle for five hours saw nothing, busted a deer on the way out.

This will be a good year for bow hunters, the controlled hunt starts Nov 06 giving us a few extra days before the orange army enters the woods.

Had my 1st sit in a tree stand ( new spot) yesterday afternoon with no deer sightings. Just coyotes singing close by for minute.

First sit for me was Sunday. wmu92. Set up at the intersection of 2 pretty heavy deer runs, but the only action I seen was 4 doe moving thru 75-100 yards from me.
A trophy is in the eye of the bow holder
