Default Video: First Velvet Buck of the 2024 Season (Ottawa - May 7)

    Hello All,
Always fun to get the first velvet buck on one of the trail cams. Not sure if this a returnee or not, but should be able to figure that out in a couple of months.
First month running the Tactacam Reveal X Pro - so far, very much liking it (just wish you had the option for videos longer than 15 seconds.)

    Cheers,
    Justin

He has a distinctive notch in his left ear, so that should help with identification.

Have a X Pro. Worked great for over a year. Changed dead batteries and now it goes through a set of batteries in a week. Even put in new batteries and didnt turn it on, were dead in a couple weeks. Wont buy another X Pro again.

Didn't even notice that - thanks for pointing it out, rf2!!! I'll have to check through the archives to see if I can match him up. Cheers!

Not great to hear. I've run an original X for three years year round. Run it with rechargeable batteries - last easily 2 months each time and that is shooting one minute videos. This new X Pro is showing 90 battery life still after being out for a month and probably 200+ 15 second videos (plus pics.)
Maybe just a bad unit on your end? What kind of batteries are you using?
