    Default Alberta Walleye

Over this past Canada Weekend my youngest son got married in Edmonton. We flew out Thursday morning and just got back today. We had a great time and the wedding was spectacular. On the Saturday before the wedding (Wedding was on Monday - Canada Day) some of us found ourselves with time to kill. So i chartered a pontoon boat on Wabamun Lake about 60K west of the city complete with a local guide and all tackle. We fished for 4 hours and landed 69 walleye between myself, my oldest son and my nephew. Was a beautiful day and the fish bite was non-stop.

Congrats on your youngest son's wedding ! You certainly picked the right charter boat. Non-stop walleye action is unheard of in my parts. Your weather looked great. Glad you had a fun weekend .

You gots some great idears sometimes, eh!?
Congrats on your son's wedding, and those fishing pictures should go right in their photo album if you ask me.
I got married in 1995 in a big hotel in Markham, and my claim to fame is that I went fishing THAT morning !
Although my buddies and I did not catch any fish, we still like to look at the fuzzy photygraphs and chuckle sometimes.

I got married in 1992 and a somewhat similar story. Wedding/Reception was at the Hockley Valley Resort NE of Orangeville. We fished the morning of the wedding on the Orangeville Reservoir (Island Lake) and I managed a 6 lb largemouth.
