Deep Cycle Battery Recommendations
Who makes a GOOD deep cycle battery?
I have bought a few CTC Nautilus batteries over the past years, but they all seem to die after just 2-3 years, even with minimal use and recharging.
Hoping somebody on here knows a more reliable brand…would like a lithium, but can’t afford that kind of expense on my pension!

Has too much time on their hands
These 2 are both higher end lead acid agm deep cycle and better then anything you get at CT, Walmart or Costco.

I used to have a buddy at Interstate and they had a contract with bell to provide the deep cycle batteries for bridging the gap between power out and genset startup for their critical infrastructure. Bell's spec required them to replace all batteries at 18 months of age - and these were really good well maintained deep cycles. I could buy them on the down low for the core charge recycling value - used them to build a really bomber solar/wind system at our hunt camp. First set lasted almost 10 years, still running on the second set - alas he moved to Australia so that connection ended.

Interstate are the best I’ve had but lithium batteries are significantly cheaper now so price shop as you might be surprised
