Default Video: Demise of this Whitetail Buck's Drop Tine (Ottawa - August 6)

    Hello All,
Although I had a bit of hope after seeing Kickstand's drop tine damaged a few weeks back, I knew in my heart he would probably lose it - which he did this week. This was my first buck I've ever captured on a cam sporting a drop tine and I was pumped. Just a few more weeks and it would have been free of velvet.
He still has a cool kicker tine and a heck of a rack, so he should put on some great trail cam shows this fall.

    Cheers,
    Justin

Interesting video. I prefer a clean symmetrical rack above all but wouldn't pass on a decent buck with some oddities.

Public land but off limits to hunting. That antler was at the top of my list to find after it shed...well, until this happened.

I'm a shed hunter, not a hunter, so do love finding off-ball antlers come winter. Had high hopes to find this one. Still has that cool kicker so fingers crossed.
