Trudeau Resigns!!
Finally! The disasterous regime is in it's death throes. Rather than simply resigning and walking away, though,we'll be subjected to more nonsense until someone finally forces or calls an election. One thing's for certain. No matter who the Liberals pick as a leader, they're done like dinner for the foreseeable future, maybe, even permanently.

The Liberal Party will re-brand under new leadership and do what it takes to win the next election. Unfortunately.

Was long overdue. The country because of his policies and beliefs of making the world a better place to live has hurt us all. The country is in a shambles and will take a long time to get back what was lost because of him…

If Poilievre can take measures to counteract the Liberals gaining any forwards momentum he has a good chance. A good offence is the best defense.

I'm really apprehensive and uncomfortable whether the CPC takes over or not. The damage done to this country may be unsurmountable. Canada has been circling the drain faster and faster as every day goes by. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

I for one am disappointed he resigned. I wanted to see him stay on as leader for an election
A new face will just convince some diehards that it’s worth giving the liberals another chance.
I don’t know how anyone can not see how they have destroyed this country in the last 9 years but some will and will vote liberal if a new face is in charge

I've been trying to warn us few years lol.
We kicked the can down the rd before the pandemic , then blamed everything on covid while ignoring reality. Still don't see a plan brought forward by anyone we are to busy reflecting our feelings ,blaming others to biuld an economy around us.
We can't pay our way out either like some think . The people are already broke.

Look folks! It doesn't matter who's in or who's out. Politics is a dirty career and will continue to be so. Nothing will change on "our" end. The rich will stay/keep getting richer, etc. etc.!!!
For all those waiting for this "new messiah" named Poilevre.....wake up!!! It's a bait and switch in terms of taxes. "Axe the tax" on one end, raise it on another. Tough to give up on incoming revenue if you don't have to.
Politics world wide has lost its luster, it's lost its integrity and its lost the trust of a coherent group of people.
Seems to me people are more interested in placing blame than fixing what's broke. It's the easier route.
Buckle up because the ride seems to be at the beginning.

.
Maybe.
Harper DID balanced the budget, everything was rather stable, even with ups and downs in the world economy.
He even managed to DECREASE our GST by 2 % - people constantly seem to forget about that.
Economy before doling out non existing money.
It is doable.
By now everyone who wants to see, sees : this country-we NEED a change.
Fast.
