bay of Quinte newbie looking for acomdationsations

Hey guys me and my son want to give the bay a try this year finally! just wondering if anybody can point us in right direction for accomodations and access point, we will be on foot with portable huts. not looking for any fishing spots just to make it easier to get on the ice, we heard its pretty dicey sometimes if you are not a local with the currents, thanks in advance.
