    Default The king of Ling 35+ inch

    Son and i have been running and gunning on Nip the last 2 days. Going out again tomorrow and will post a full report after that - but lots of fish. One fish though deserves his own thread. 35.5 inch Ling taken Thursday mid-afternoon at the Manitous:

    YES! the tail section pretty much fresh water scallop
    Time in the outdoors is never wasted

    One of the best. I just filet them boneless like any other fish. That ling fed 8 adults. Deep fried in my special beer batter recipe:

    Love beer batter it's the only reason I buy beer in the winter is for the fish lol.
