We will soon see the ones he is threatening will continue to do the same thing. After trumps little talk with China ,China then had a 90 minute discussion with Russia. I dout they talked much about the usa or trump , they aren't to worried about what others are doing they are working on their own goals. Russia and Iran just singed a treaty amongst them in the days leading up to trumps term.
As for usa taking territories it's just a show.
Panama has already said no and that the Chinese do not operate and is run by Panama . China does have ports on both ends but that is nothing out of the norm they have ports all over the world. If they want an economic war who will they turn too? China perhaps?
Really what are they going to do ?
Government's actions just made a China app explode the little red book was the just most downloaded app last week in Canada and the usa. And they were worried about tic tok security risks lol. Again smoke and mirrors as the data is stored in Texas . It's about control not security tic tok showed what was happening in gaza the government doesn't control its content like all the other platforms meta ,Google, you tube ect .....
And here we are still trying to figure out what to do . Early elections more mandates why because trumps in office?
What about the 52 or 62 billion we spent on ev mandates for trump to demolish in the states. Hahah

When the USA needs Canadian energy and recourses they will just take over. This is not if, it's just a matter of when.
Canada has zero chance to do anything about it and we all know it!
Will make my move to Texas a lot easier! lol

Well when you come to think about it having Canada a part of the U.S. would be a win win for both countries- Canada may have natural resources but they have no infrastructure to develop and use it - as an example crude oil is sold to the US at a bargain price because Canada has no refineries or pipe lines or ocean ports to sell the oil anywhere else - when we start drilling down here we will not need any Canadian oil - Canadians should sit back and think of Trump's proposal for their benefit -

No thanks, don't want to live in a country of gun nuts, mass shootings every time you turn around. Infrastructure can be built here to suit our own needs, we don't need to be puppets to a bunch of wacko's.

We should have had our own refineries decades ago.
As for the drilling he has 2 problems the first is he will be blocked by many government's and non government agencies. Hopefully I'm wrong the second who you going to sell it to ? Do you have buyers lined up for American oil? If it's not cheaper why will others buy it.? It will lower the amount of oil we ship down.
On the plus your fuel price will go down.
We are hypocrites here we have to lower our fuel consumption or pay the price while we pump and ship it for profits lol.
I was remembering about 58 cents a liter today lol.
And 50 cent minnows that is now 10 bucks .

China just came out with deepseek an alternative to open ai at a fraction of the cost. 30 x cheaper it had our stocks tanking today nvidia fell 16% today.
What's trumps tariffs going to do ? They are ment for temporary solutions what are his solutions to create a competitive product for 7 plus billion people?
What's his threat to Russia tariffs lol. Who cares tariffs only work if if that country is selling to your country. What products will trump tax coming in from Russia very little.
We need to be able to sell an affordable product if you want to keep up. If your not biulding the product somewhere else will.
What trump is forgetting is that an American first represents just 330 million from a world of 8 billion people.
