May have to look for a young buck (or strong doe) to haul the gear out for this old man(ok not so "old" just should be in better shape.)
I asked Gilroy where he wanted to go he didn't reply. I'll need at least at one perch feed this season. If conditions improve I got a spot with a relatively short walk a km if the lots clears . I was thinking about keeping some yesterday but then decided to leave the area all together as I was after the whitties and was looking for the shallow whitties under 20 fow. . An 11 inch picked up my buddies 3 inch tube and choked it down lol. Wasn't what we were looking for but I knew they would be there just the whitties weren't.

Thanks for the recipe I'll try it out for sure but with a fresh whitefish lol.

I tried out the recipe today after my ice fishing adventure in Sugarloaf marina. I caught 6 nice perch for the dinner plate. That batter was very good and i will use it in the future.
Thanks for sharing.

A+ on the recipe
Tasted great didn't find the seasoning salt so made my own with basically the same ingredients lol. Used the smoked paprika and added a it more pepper for a whitefish I took home the other day.
I'm not hungry anymore lol.
Thanks again.

Glad to hear I am not the only fan. @FF - good luck tomorrow - gonna be one of those perfect spring weather days - can't wait.
