25% tariffs now on ammo and firearms from USA
Better buy your ammo now! 80% of our ammo comes from USA. It will be +25% once current inventory is cleared. Same with any USA firearm.

I can almost guarantee that ALL ammo/firearms will go up by the same amount. When the price of the competition goes up, the price of the rest will follow. From the perspective of the business, why pass up an opportunity to raise prices across the board?

I wouldn't be surprised if once prices are hiked, they don't go down once the threat of tariffs goes away.

You are probably right. Now more than ever is to be a proactive shopper. Impulse shoppers are going to pay a premium however if you take inventory and plan your needs sure you can get deals when sales go on.

This is just the first round of tariffs in the beginning of an economic war. Things are going get much worse I'm guessing by the end of things we could see a much higher percentage on alot of things real soon.
I'm with bird and dout they will lower it the end by what they raise it by.
Trump vowed to match any tarrifs aka consumers tax to any who imposed them back. So that's why I'm guessing it's just the beginning and could climb higher than the original 25% as we respond back.

This is not the tariff war the left wing media are making out to be, its a tax for not funding our border guards against illegal drug trafficking, and the Canadian public are buying into it. I have seen the devastation drug addiction brings to a family, in my opinion it is the biggest threat we face as a nation.
I just read a quote from our former PM wherein he supports the booing of the US national anthem, these are the same folks who protect our borders. Its the same voice I heard when the liberals denounced the Westin family for causing inflation. Inflation was caused by printing too much money durring the times of covid shut downs, fewer goods available combined with more money and the result is inflation, the Westin's donated a Fighter plane to the RCAF and that's how our former PM returned the favour. He is doing the same thing with the tariffs, flip the narrative and shift the blame.

Thankfully, with the purchase of my .22 last fall, I’m all set with my assortment of firearms.
I also good on ammo… 5 boxes of 30.06 reloads and tons of .22 rounds. I would like to pick up another pound of powder but my go-to powder is impossible to find with all the wars going on.

For some, this might be a good time to look into reloading. Do some research and work out the cost ratios. Or simply it might be time to cut back at the shooting club.
Might be a good time to design a VR style shooting club. Kinda like those indoor golf courses. Any tech guys out there?

So just got back with 4 boxes of #5, checked on the winchester site and they have a $3.00 (American) a box rebate so clean $24.00 a box should be good for the next 15-20 years.

Imagine the price now for an ARE truck cap, any brand of travel trailer. Would be a lousy time to price a new boat.
