There are other options than American ammo and guns. EU and Asian ammunition and firearm manufacturers will reap the benefits of Trump's protectionist policy and American companies will lose business, perhaps forever.

This is not the tariff war the left wing media are making out to be, its a tax for not funding our border guards against illegal drug trafficking, and the Canadian public are buying into it. I have seen the devastation drug addiction brings to a family, in my opinion it is the biggest threat we face as a nation
- regardless if fentanyl cross border issue is real or not (I guess not as the boarder is permeable from two sides and everyone here is aware that guns traffic goes from there to here, and one’s really want to stop any traffic it could be done from any side of the border), and
- regardless if tariffs are the proper way to resolve border issues between long time friendly neighbors
This guy talks to the (apparently now ex-) best allies the same way he talks to the greatest dictators and murders in this century. He legalizes these countries and their dictators as legitimate, while according to the (again apparently ex-) western values and policies they are not.
He does not care about any society or the whole world but Amerika First. We've heard that, right? - before WWII.
I was a staunch conservative for about my 30 years in Canada and was pretty much pro American as well.
But now with all this BS coming from yesterday's best friend and ally of my country, I will support any party or movement that is brave enough to defend this danger from there..
I’m from a country with a big history of dictatorship and right now it is again under a dictator and ruining its neighbor for pure nothing other than the same BS I hear now here. I know what that is and I know how it starts.
I don’t want it to be here.

They are doing what is necessary wars are ugly and currently their is an economic war appon us. It's not on us but will affect us like many other others .
Fun facts.
China is crushing the usa in critical and emerging technology's 20 years ago china lead in just 3 while the us had the majority.
We must understand what's happening and the reasons for the reactions. Tarrifs are working so far it will take a few years to see if they can achieve their goals. Will it hurt others in the process sure it will if you have also neglected your economy. We either stand with them or let them sink and we will also sink with them.
I'm kinda open to China becoming the next empire. So let's support them and buy Asian ammo not American ammo. Lol
I'm not changing my buying patterns over this.

Sounds very familiar. As Trump said about Putin routinely bombing Ukraine: “I actually think he is doing what anybody else would do.”
And that’s what pisses me off the most, when people living here in Canada, using and enjoying all the benefits of living in a free, democratic and wealthy country still favour Putin's war and dictatorship.
And now it is the same with trumpism. They're beating Canada in a hard, mean and vile way and some Canadians still favour it. What a mixture of hypocrisy and stupidity!

Sadly China has put 25-100% tariffs on selected Canadian products including rapeseed oil, canola, pork. Yet not a single comment from our federal government.
Orange man bad, China good,....Poor Canada

China could bring our country to its knee's, make us beg for existence.
Our state funded media won't speak a negative word on China.

So China keeps slapping on tarrifs
The new pm has lied about the economy blames trump for our falling economy while he blatantly ignores our lost decade.
I've been talking about our failing economy for years it's nothing new

I suppose prices are going up on in-stock guns too? Thankfully I’m set for guns and ammo.
