E-Bike for Hunting?
Anyone use an e-bike for hunting? If so any recommendations for or against a brand? Any other advice would be welcome. I'm in SW Ontario so not a lot of really large forests but I would use it for just tooling around also. TC

There are 2 at our camp. One is used by a mid 40s guy. He does fine with it. My brother who is just over 70 does not use his anymore. Very rough trails and he doesn't want to fall and get hurt. I think age is a big factor in your purchasing or not.

I have a E Wild made by Emmo with about 1300kms. Its a fat tire with 4". Pros are its great if you have arthritis for hills and to get started or are older. Excellent to run the dog and I ride almost all year around a few times a week.
Cons are its heavy, mine is about 75lbs and I cheaped out with this model, as there is no suspension.
I would buy a name brand that you could get serviced if need be with at least front suspension if you are going to ride on trails.
Good luck

use e-bikes for hunting, and they can be pretty cool for quiet movement. Some people have had good experiences with brands like Ancheer and Swagcycle, but it's really up to what you need. Make sure the battery lasts long enough for your trips, and that the bike handles the rougher terrain.

Well after a lot of research I got one. A Jasion, sort of BMX style. Have 20 miles on it and I really like it. Handles trails really well. They do have limits however, I was a little too aggressive on a logging road and some debris hit the derailleur, the motor caught it and bent it pretty bad. I was lucky, only $75 to replace it. Sorry unable to load a picture. TC
