I've heard that too, but it wouldn't surprise me if they had another litter or two beforehand.
Well bred pups, and great people.

I'm pretty sure they are done training. They were selling off a bunch of stuff on canadianguntingdogs.com. I got a 209 primer ALFA off them.

There is the Kingston Area HRC and Eastern Ontario Retrievers Club (CKC) that train regularly out of Kingston. Things are slowing down for most that are hunting and not heading to Oklahoma or Iron Bridge in the next few weeks. If you're interested in coming out shoot me a PM, I train daily either alone or with one of the two clubs...

    Hi Everyone,

Just want to thank everyone for all the help and advice so far. I am not in any hurry and will be taking my time as I do my research on a new retriever. My dog Maggie was a great dog that I got 14 years ago, from a breeder in Kingston. The breeder has now moved to more of the show dogs rather than the hunting breed. As I mentioned, Maggie's hunting days are over (Although her heart doesn't tell her that). I am blessed that we have had so few health problems with her and that she has lived such a long life. However, with that said, I have to admit I am not fond of walking out to pick up my geese and ducks!

Does anyone know Dave Thomas' number in Brighton? I can't seem to find it and I really need two started labs for this fall. If anyone can help or know of any available, please let me know.
