He runs his charter boat out of the Village Marina in Honey Harbour. I waiting for more details. I heard it was a record fish. Don't know if it was released or not. Wouldn't be a record if it was released.
That girth is not bloating from depth, he only fishes 3-4' down. Rod tips in the water dragging his blade baits all over Southern Georgian Bay, no land visible in the pics, probably off the west side of Beausoliel Is.

if this is the "record fish" ive been hearing rumblings about it went 58.5lbs on a certified scale at a marina and was still live released.. could be a different fish though, there will be an article in the upcoming Musky Hunter mag about it.

Definetly not a world record.......I would say between 49-53 inches with a girth measuring in at around the 27" mark. A 50 pounder yes but a world record no. Johnny is the man!!! And he's caught bigger ones than that. This fish WAS live released.
