    Joe another thing you could use is the Gibbs slip sinker. They come in many weights. They slide on your line and then you pinch your line in the coil to hold it in place where ever you want ahead of the lure. Then when you reel it up it releases and slides down the line, or set it up so a hit releases the pinch. http://www.thefishinhole.com/index.c...oduct&se=21091

    +1 on the deep diving tail dancer. reef runners are nice to.

    They are lead weights and they track straight, no action or movement. I like then because they look nice. I've only had one fish hit a weight once in the last 4-5 years. I think it was a pike.

    I also use banana weight too.


    These are cheaper and I'll go wit them where there is a lot of rocks. They also trak straight and don't spin when trolling.

    Here is another weight that I like from China (ebay).

    These are cheaper and they also work well.
