    Default Sheds and Snowshoes

So I went up to our camp today today to try and bring my RTV home. It has been buried in the snow since December. Well no luck on that front - still too much snow.

This stake normally has 30 inches showing. 2 weeks ago it was not visible but now has a bout 12 inches showing.

After I gave up on the RTV I put the snowshoes on and did my standard 8km loop with stops at the food plots and at the river.

Snow is slowly melting off the stands:

Ice is now off the river but is still flowing down the river in nice size chunks:

At this point it was time to break out the emergency provisions:

Found a matching set of sheds sticking out of the snow down by the river. Should be more to be found as the snow continues to melt.

On the way back out I found fresh turkey tracks in the snow and in the mud next to a spring. First turkey sign this year. 2 weeks ago there was no sign.

Altogether a fine way to spend Sunday afternoon.

You guessed it. About 3-4 miles west of Priceville.

Nice pics. Sounds like you had a great spring day out and about. Nice taste in brews, too!

Nice sheds! I have only ever found 1 matching set of shed antlers and they were only 2 pointers.

Beautiful picutures, you are one lucky landowner. A little jealous right now.
