Ah....to kill a wise old buck.....
Time in the tree my friend...
Maybe...a mock scrape...(taken from some other location that an other mature buck was useing...) chalenge him...
Maybe...more re-con on his movements....(get away from the bait and see what he does during his day... rubline or his scrapes)
Maybe ....hunt the mature does in the area.....(sooner or later he will be interested in them)
Maybe ....glass the fields in the early evening and see what the deer are doing and you might even get a look at him checking the does or on his feeding pattern.
Good luck with him!
Hunting a mature buck is very different than just killing any deer.
Have paitence..

Very nice, great seeing the pic of different years and good luck.
Lots of practice shooting will improve your chances of taking your prey cleanly.

I'd agree that the previous years pictures are the same buck. Not so sure about this years being the same as the others. Look at the brow tines - all other years similar with one being shorter than the other. This year, they are huge (2x length) and the shorter/longer are reversed. Looks like a different buck to me IMO.
