improved would be your better choice. Doesn't mean you can't use full but if the rabbits are flushing from your feet and its close to you, you might have a hard time hitting them and if you do the meat would be damaged

Another vote for cheap #6s. Can't beat them.

I use #4. Mind you that is with a short barreled 20 gauge cylinder bore (no choke). I think 4 5 or 6 is fine.

I use a #7.5 hit them at 15yards with a mod choke and they go down and the pellets that do hit good meat dont do any real damage.

For cottontails I go #6 or #7.5s modified choke if you are hunting tighter quarters. For jacks I go #4 or #2 with a full choke for more punch down range.

I use number 4's just to keep pellet numbers down. I have since switched to single shot .410 #6's to make more of a challenge and definitely keeps pellet numbers down

Went out Tuesday after work for an hour or so with a 22 I borrowed from a friend.. Lots of tracks.. Didn't see a bunny though.. Well.. Not until we standing in the driveway next the van with the guns unloaded and in the back of the car.. Suddenly 3 rabbits ran out from the back of the barn.. One Eben decided to stop.. Kinda taunting me.. Took off before I could do anything though.
