OOD e-newsletter: how did you like it?
Did you get the OOD February newsletter last week? If yes, what are your thoughts?

I like it....BUT, to be honest, for the most part it's a republishing of a lot of the articles that had already stimulated discussions on the forum. (old news as it were).
Not to say it's not a great way to draw folks to the other aspects/ areas on the OOD site. Until you started the newsletter idea, I wasn't even aware that there was a 'news' area on the main site.
IMHO....

Has too much time on their hands
I deleted it without reading it. Just not interested in OOD articles for a couple of years, much more informative to read threads in the forum. But, I still think that it's a good thing to send newsletter out.

I don't remember receiving it.
what is the criteria for receiving it?
as in, who gets sent the email?

The email is sent to all members of the forum in addition to those who have manually signed up. If you are not sure if you are on the list you can go to http://www.oodmag.com/enewsletter/ and sign up. If you are already on the list, it won't add you twice.
Also, check your junk mail -- it might have gotten filtered.
