Thanks for sharing your yearly adventure again. That tent looks much more comfortable than your tarp setup.
It sure must be hard to get back into your regular routine after being in the bush for 21 days ( then again , I bet a hot shower sure feels good after that ).

Awesome adventure!
Snow trekker tent? Nice setup! I'm going to be looking at investing in a tent / stove combo very soon. Do you make video of your adventures or just take photo's?

Great pictures, My ruffin it is at the hunt camp. As long as you have dry wood , and lots of grub , life is good. enjoyed those big specks , king of fish. Old 243

Hi FishScuba,
ya, the hot tent is super luxurious.
but, i have to say there is something pretty
awesome too about the full on open fire living.
your just totally integrated into your environment.
for solo guy tho its a bit punishing.
cant say iam in a rush to go back to that anytime soon.
Hi Fishfrenzy,
yep, it a snowtrekker. (8x8 solo)
just this yr i did make a few videos.
mostly documenting weather and time with the trappers.
fish frys etc
Hi Moosebunk,
thanks
means a lot coming from the King of Lunkers/ trip reports!
you should be nominated for GG literary award btw.
they are all masterpieces.
Thanks old 243

Where did you pick up your snow trekker? Do you think there's enough room with stove for two people in the solo? If you have some video, put it up on youtube

I may have mentioned this before, but you have to be one well put together person to make this trip alone. Very, very few are capable of doing what you do. My compliments to you.

Hi FishFrenzy,
i ordered my snowtrekker online from their site.
8x8 could be used for two people. probably better off with 8x10 tho.
here are some short videos. quality is quite poor unfortunately.
fish fry, lil bit of that two day Texas low pressure
and some radio by the hot stove. :P

Nicely done... Where you drinking that cedar water for vitamin C???
I remember hearing at school natives did that to prevent scurvy.
No shortage of good food even without those fat red speckle fillets...
