    Default Niagara Falls in April

Couple of weeks ago we took the boys to Niagara Falls for a mini family retreat to Americanna Waterpark and then took advantage of a complimentary stay at Sheraton on the Falls (of course I had the camera in tow).

Also decided to try out some vertigo-type shots from the 16th floor of the Sheraton as the room had a window that opened and allowed you no-window access to the outside.

Heading back to the Falls in June for a wedding so I hope to get some more unique shots then.

    Thanks for looking.

Sorry Caltek...pics of the falls this time of year rarely are exciting or interesting to look at...really rather dismall actually. But perhaps that is only my take as someone who has seen them (and many photos of them) in every light, wrathet condition, time of year etc etc.

I look forward to your June shots...a lot better subject matter in June. The best though is late fall and early winter IMO.

Mostly everything is rather dismal this time of year. I just thought the huge chunks of ice were pretty cool to see as they were so thick. When we first got there we could see a bunch of ice in the river that slowly floated off so the kids thought that was cool - called them ice bergs

I have been to the falls at least 8 times in the last 10 years so I have plenty of shots of them and agree that once you see one shot you have seen them all. Would be nice to get on the Maid of the Mist again and get some shots from there or maybe Journey Behind the Falls -- a different angle would be nice.
