Great suggestion, x2. This topic will expand your reader base into a new market/demographic and further promote responsibility in the sport of hunting.
Contact these folks, they helped me out a lot and know their stuff:

Less fishing. More articles on upland and turkey hunting.

Whatever the articles are - more advanced content. Almost all the articles are at a beginner level. Have a look at gundog mag or d&dh and see the depth of those articles - more like that.

Less deer hunting, less reviews of places that are "exclusive" feeling to some people. How about some coverage of Air Rifle hunting, Pest control with Air Rifles. Bow Fishing, Rough Fish fishing. Small game hunting, building/making Habitat for small Game. Hunting Groundhogs, Raccoons, Crows, Squirrels.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

Actually, that's a good suggestion as well. +1

Agree on the less fishing suggestion. Not sure if they would be allowed to put it into the magazine but more information on field dressing animals.

With the internet's ability to answer almost any question regarding hunting and fishing, I find the newsy parts the best. Poachers, Regulation changes, habitat improvements or damages, research findings, clubs, you know - that kind of stuff. You usually only have 3 or so pages dedicated to that, I wish it was bigger.
