Coyote Howl.....and they answered

shot my first and only coyote by calling by voice, its awesome when 20 of them answer you back less than 100 yards away!!

I had that happen (not as dramatic) to me a few yrs back....I went out to a baited area and set-up. At dusk I let out a few howls and got an instant response....from all around me...they had me circled. Very unsettling, even with a rifle sitting on your lap

I was up in Bancroft on a deer hunt it was a very frosty morning and I was on a watch high on a ridge. one of are hounds just started to tough and the wolves started to howl just like that it was a family with lots of young ones and thy just made you shiver .thy kept it up for a few minutes just echoing over the hills .it was amazing and something I will not soon forget Duch
