Default My 2 Indiana bucks in 3 days

Hi all, I watch these forums some as I fish in Onatrio and my wife is from Ontario. Thought I would share/

I had planned to hunting Friday through today but I am now back at work today after tagging out on 2 bucks. Friday morning found me in my favorite spot that I had stayed out of until the rut. The Saturday before I had seen 5 bucks form this stand. Early Friday morning I see a buck coming and passed him up on the first shot opportunity but he ended up turning coming really close. I ended up taking him. I wasn’t as excited as I should be as I was really wanting the bigger one I had seen the Saturday before but I knew I could get 2 as I had got a doe on another urban property in October. Sunday evening found me back in the same spot planning to come back in the morning. About 4:30 I hear something coming down the hill to my left making a lot of noise. I finally see him and he enters the small field below me and starts making a scrap. I get my crossbow in the ready position using the tenpoint steady eddy. He walks where I can shoot and I put the scoop on him at about 20 yards. Looks to be a perfect hit but I see the arrow come out as he runs and I’m thinking oh great a shoulder hit. I think I must have just hit the opposite leg as the fletchings had blood him. He ran about 45 yards and I was pretty sure he was down but waited about 40 minutes before going after him. He was right where I thought ee was.

    Two real beauties. Congratulations!
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?
