Found Dead Red Tailed Hawk Today
Just found a dead Red Tailed Hawk next to the 401 and 404 area. What a shame. Looks to be in good shape. Let me know if you are interested in having it for a taxidermy mount. Don't have a camera available at the moment to post pics...
Update: Added pic.

Have seen quite a few dead along our highways over the years. It is a shame.

This is not at the side of the highway. It's on private property a short distance from the highway. Wish I could get a pic...

Disappointed... The property management people "disposed" of it.

He said 'private property" it was not his to remove. Dare you to come on my, "private property" to pick something up. He was following the rules. Go to the management company and ask for it. AND he said he was 'disappointed'.

Sheesh! Um, I think I said I was disappointed not pi$$ed off. I was at work. It's not like there is a freezer there for me to keep it in. Even if there was, bringing a large dead bird inside my place of employment would be inappropriate. I was down in the mailroom trying to find something to put it in when it was picked up.
