I refuse to eat any of that store bought crud anymore. Unless I catch it local or get it from a reputable fish market in town, I don't know how anyone can consume it.

Yeah not surprised the FDA would approve something, health Canada would reject or have reservations about... The FDA is basically "owned" by corporations and they don't always care about your health, more their own pocketbook. It happened with bovine growth hormone, banned here, approved down south... The U.S. is basically a chemical experiment.

As for that GM salmon being approved by the FDA, like that 2nd link mentions, retailers won't carry it, because of low consumer confidence, so there isn't much to worry about. No one wants it...
