    Default Lake Nippising

Hello I am going to lake Nippising in two weeks. I have never fished that lake before I usually go to the French river but cabins all booked up. I am staying at cozy cove cottages. Does any body know of what tackle I should bring with me. I would really like to get some pickerel. Anybody fished near that camp before ?
    Thanks

Jigs and minnows in any northern lake.

Jigs and minnows. Spinners and minnows. Substituting worms for minnows works too. Also dont forget your crankbaits, jerkbaits, and swimbaits.

As said above. Also suggest finding humps or drop offs. Just got back from nipissing and it was exceptional fishing. Don't overlook the small mouth bass either as they were on fire.

Having a bit of luck. My depth finder quit working. Going to go out drift fishing with bottom bouncer and worm harness tonight. Just might have to go buy a new fish finder.

Did some drift fishing with bottom bouncers found some but all of them were just under slot size so had to throw them back. Caught a lot of good bass though. Last day and over cast hope to catch a keeper today.

Yeah wasn't very good week for fish. Hopefully going back to The French next year. Every walleye I caught was under 18.25 inches. I was talking to a guy up there he said the same thing lots of netting going on
