    Beautiful dogs! Shure is easyer to train a pups with an older dog around!

    It can be , but I also found with the beagles that if you run the pup too often with an older dog , it will lose its independence and become a follower.

    Check with the breed warden or Adam b4 registering . There was something about the VDD bylaws and I do not know the out come at this time .

    Love the black ones! I think our next one will end up being brown due to the breeding we have our eyes on, but if one pup comes out black (slim chance) I will try to snag it. Have fun, hope its an extra bad one, they always end up the best in the end.

    Thanks Seadog. I remember reading about that. I just thought it would be a good opportunity to test, never intention to breed outside the DD program.
    PG, he is a little "handful" right now. Seems to be pretty driven and has that characteristic "problem solving" intelligence. Keeps us and Kaiser busy.
    nice looking dogs too.
