CWD is at our doorstep. They have tested positive animals in Michigan recently. It just a matter of time !

I think banning natural deer scents was about as dumb as it gets. That was figured out by someone sitting in an office somewhere.
Natural scents were banned because it is taken from deer on deer farms. With CWD found on those farms it is easily spread by us hunters using these tainted scents without knowing it.
With no way to know what scents have CWD the only way to control it is to ban all natural scents.
It sucks but small sacrifice to be able to keep a healthy deer population.
