PSE Surge
Looking for some advice fellas,
Right off the bat, I've shot many bows now at Cabelas, Bass Pro, and local archery shops of multiple brands. I'm pretty set on the PSE Surge, seems to be the improved version of several other bows. The Surge has great reviews, and the price is right, but mainly... Felt good in my hands.
My big question is, what do you guys think for someone switching from an Excalibur Exocet to a compound?
Think this bow is a solid buy?
Should I look at something else?

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.

Very good choice. Nice brace height which makes it forgiving to shoot. Just realize that you need to get proficient with a compound before hunting with it.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Thanks Terry.
I'm well aware of the difference between the x-bow point and shoot style. That's the adjustment I am looking for, something that takes time and dedication.
Thanks !

It can be addictive, be forewarned. I was pretty serious about bowhunting until i trashed my shoulder. Very rewarding though.

Buddy of mine picked that bow up from the Cabelas in Barrie not a week ago, he loves it. To his credit, with no prior experience, he's grouping at 3" MOA at 20 yards already. Baby steps, but hes coming along. Bow has been performing fine so far.

There is not a poor bow out there ........ only poor shooters ! Learn to shoot it well and don't forget to have fun .

Not so sure about that statement. I've been reading and hearing a lot of negative comments about the Barnett xbows lately.

I have that bow, very nice and forgiving to shoot. I got a nice little buck with it last year.
