This will be interesting to watch how it is received by game departments. I can see pushback for sure.
Iím suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Interesting new weapon that Jim Shockey used to shoot a Bison. I wonder if this would be considered a gun or a bow?

or in Canada... allowed at all???

Even if you had one of the 50 Cal air rifles (new or historical) I THINK you couldn't hunt deer with it even though in France they were used for hunting back in the early 1800's and can find them in the Museum of Hunting and Nature in Paris and Lewis and Clark used them for hunting.

For perspective on what an air rifle can do.

Not sure how it would meet the minimum draw weight but at 450 fps it would certainly have the juice to get the job done.

I'd think it would be classed as a "dart gun".
That would make it a prohibited weapon, wouldn't it?

It doesn't fit in to the current game laws for archery & I am sure won't be for some time...

Interesting. Quieter than I expected. Jim Shockey's expressions were funny.

At the rate we're going, maybe I can get a Bowcaster in a few years!
