    Our Family really likes this one. Start Deep Fryer to warm up. 1 bottle or can beer, your favorite,1 cup pancake mix, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder,1 teaspoon of onion powder,1 teaspoon of fresh ground pepper,1 teaspoon of salt. Steps take one sip of beer while you have it in Hand. take 1 cup of beer into bowl, Next mix in all Dry ingredients. Prepare the Walleye into strips and cut into small blocks like Sugar cubes. Mix into the Beer Batter and Deep fry for 3 to 4 min until a nice light brown colour. When done we put them into oven warmer while the fries cook . Add a drip of Lemon and smile while they Enjoy..Yummy

    I used the same recipe on perch last week and they were delicious.

    That Perch sounds great. We had our Family day and it was Great too . Home made fish- Trout chowder . pickerel poppers and a baked trout dish with sour crème and lemon. Red Lobster - cant touch this..

    Searay, next time cut the Walleye cubes a little bigger and wrap a half cooked pc of bacon around it with a toothpick to hold the bacon on, dunk in batter and fry...sooooooo goooooood
