It doesn't say which one you use, but which one you prefer Mike

I only used once fresh natural doe urine in estrus, from a local farm, when we were able to use it and see it worked. I saw a buck coming my way with the wind in his nose so I spayed it until he was close enough to go to the butcher, it kept his nose up the all-time..... Not sure if the scent was just covering mine or if the scent was driving him stupid.
Hard to believe some of us would think scent don't work, I mean that what animal use to interact with each other....

I think a deers' nose is so sensitive that a cover scent just adds another level to your own scent, kind of like adding fried onions to your venison tenderloin adds another layer of scent, but doesn't cover it up. I still use them though.

I save tarsal glands off harvested deer, keep them frozen till use. Use as drag or upwind Doesn't get much more natural than that. old243

I picked natural because I use to use them with good results, I have had no luck with synthetic. One brand you would swear was cheap perfume so I don't use anything now

According to the regs; you may not uses the glands legally to hunt with.

In order to prevent the introduction of Chronic Wasting

Disease, products that contain bodily f luids (urine, gland oil,
feces, saliva, etc.) of a member of the deer family (including
deer, moose, and elk) are not permitted to be possessed or
used for the purposes of hunting in Ontario. Hunters are
allowed to possess and use artificial or plant-based products
that can attract wildlife or be used as a cover scent.
