Must be and end run on hunters by someone, either the libs, the antis or the Wind turbine company.

In fact in the States most major commercial timber tracts are welcoming hikers, birdwatchers and hunters because they fear the ire of slighted hikers, birdwatchers, hunters, etc. if they start to act like azzes.

They would rather get along than contract water bombers.

You'd think the same cerebral process would occur in the brains of the Wind Turbine folks.

Personally think at this time the States are a better barometer. More developments spread across a larger mix of ecological/economic regions. In the "other" thread it took forever to find an article Id read from "realtors.org". By the time I found it again. Blah

R I've come across a couple articles with respect to land owners, wind farms and Hunt clubs. There is some indication fights are brewing, I think it was one in Oregon. For years no problem, recently the wind co, influenced the land owner not to renew the lease with the HC. Sign of things to come, or a "one-off". Again don't know. But my guess would be, keep an eye on developments in the U.S. For indications here

Not sure if this is the same article YD was talking about but. But is being shared on FB today.

By asking the MNR (aka QP) to get involved, pick a side (defend the rights of hunters/hunting).The province has been dragged into it already. QP may say "not our fight" or they may not. OFAH or others may say "it's illegal to interfere with legal hunting" (is there a legal arguement that this company is interfering?). Don't know, but if "push comes to shove". Stranger things happen.

And while I don't know the specifics of the airport fight being referenced. One might think Transport Canada would first ensure the safety of pilots/planes/passengers. Apparently not. While there are certainly large differences, it's illegal to fly drones within 9km of an airport, and higher than 300 feet. Why? Due to the risk. While IWTs unlike drones are stationary they are 500 feet, and a lot sturdier. Am kind of surprised they are allowed anywhere near airports.

    But $ talks.

Money always Wynnes. Of course she will go along with the wind farms. Get rid of the Liberals or far more things we consider as rights are at risk to the liberal social engineering activist agenda. People just don't seem to understand how giving away a strategic crown asset like Hydro can have negative effects. Stay tuned, toll lanes on existing roads ( not new ones to be built ), Carbon taxes that will $5.00 to every gas tank you buy and then cause another 5% inflation on everything you consume. We are being spared major tax increases only because of low interest rates and we have no control on world events and markets so yes they will eventually rise and it will devastating.
Iím suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.
