Video - Pair of Whitetail Bucks in Velvet (8- and 10-pt.)
Hello All,
Headed out tonight to a different bean field in hopes of capturing some velvet bucks on film. At 7:45pm, the first deer stepped out - which was an 8-point. Minutes later, a nice and wide 10 showed up.
Looking forward to seeing this big boy when the rut begins.
Note - public land/no hunting
Cheers,
Justin

Nice video. How far away were you when you recorded it? Deer seem oblivious to your presence.

delmer - I was approximately 50 yards away, shooting with a 150-500mm telephoto lens. These deer are pretty use to humans, with it being a conservation area. In fact, I have sat less than 15 feet away from bedded bucks here during the rut and they barely pay me any attention
Thanks KMG!
Cheers,
Justin
