Atv Repair Qustion
I plan to do the front end on the atv. when I bought it, it was a new to me 2003 arctic cat 500 is automatic.
I plan to replace the steering stem bearings the tye rods and ends as well as the ball joints. As well as the swing arm bushings. Am I missing any thing? My question I am not sure about is were the tye rod ends connect to the steering stem plate how tight should those nuts be. When I move the handle bars now, the handle bars move a couple inches both directions and I can see the tye rod ends bolts move a lot in the steering stem plate before the tye rods move the tires.
Never done this before and only getting information on the internet and cant find much. So any advice is always welcome.
Thanks all Don

greatwhite I am just collecting every thing I need right now, Then do every thing at once. Had to buy a instrument pod from the states, saved almost half price even with the exchange rate.

Tip: put new bearings in freezer, a lot easier to press them in.

I have a better idea, Wait until my best friend comes down and play dumb tell him I'm not sure what to do and let him do it. Plus since I have to help him finish building his garage he's going to owe me.
