Going up to Quinte
Im heading to Quinte next week with ffcharters, I am looking for some input on rod setup and bait/lure techniques for walleye. I normally just catch perch on the ice so this is going to be an experience for sure. Any tips on jigging or how you hook your minnow etc is appreciated.

I use gold spoons, hook my minnow through the mouth out the head and jig just off of bottom. Start with small pops and shakes then with jig fast and hard and then pause.
That rug really tied the room together

Your guide will tell you everything you need to know. Just jig your arm off.

I would contact your outfitter and see what they say. You're paying for a service and getting some advice before you head out might be worth the effort.

We have had luck with jigging raps and buck shots spoons tipped with half a minnow. When using the jigging raps jig aggressively (2-3' and let settle near bottom for a few seconds), with the buck shots I like to do the same as the jigging raps only when resting near bottom twitch the spoon as few seconds then rest a few seconds. Bronze and perch colours seem to work best for me.
Good luck!

I'm surprised you found a guide to take you out, lots of guides won't take people anymore at this time due to the bad ice and even worse fishing
