Lake Joseph ice condition
Does anyone know the ice condition on Joseph? I know it's open in the middle, but I wonder if it's OK in Foot's Bay and Port Cockburn areas. In particular is it safe to go around Fraser Island?
I would appreciate any info.
Thanks.

To be honest with you, I don't think anybody will know until Saturdays opening day.
I tried getting some info from my buddy that lives up there ,but no reply yet.
Those area's have been frozen for a long time ,so they should be good.

There are snowmobile trails go around. They watch cottages etc. Those guys would know.
It's always slushy near the cottages because they pump the water around docks. And this is the problem around Fraser island. Slush is Ok as long there is some ice beneath.
RHYBACK, thanks for your reply!
