Carp Recipes?
I live near the Trent System and want to try bowfishing. I did this when I was a kid and got a real kick out of it. I believe bowfishing is only legal on suckers and carp in Ontario. I noticed the Canned sucker recipe thread, but wondered if anyone had recommendations for carp. I don't want to hunt and just throw the fish out or dig them into the garden.

2017-18 Guide to Eating Ontario Fish recommends carp in the Trent only under 24 " or 60 cm be consumed ...that being said my understanding is lots of butter and lots of garlic ..cook the fish in oil with the ingredients .....dump the fish and eat the pan LOL ? ... I'll be watching this thread with amusement . Think Wheels has a few recipes ... I'll see if I can get him to post .

X2 on the smoked carp. It's oily enough to smoke up very well !
