    To each their own, but Ive never had a problem jigging wallys with braid. I switched over when I guided in the NW because I was losing far too many jigs to jagged rocks with mono, and havent looked back. Im not outfished now here where the fish are far harder to catch and far more wary of an angler then up there where they indiscriminately bite anything you put in front of their mouth.

    Like most of fishing, I think its a comfort thing. People use what they're familiar with and trust.
