Not sure of the proper name but we used to refer to them as Creek Chubs or Stone Rollers.

You know that when you get lazy Uncle Gilroy will always make you do some homework.Here is a link to a handy booklet I found up north in the MNR office.
Even with the booklet some are pretty hard to identify,hope this helps.
