    Fall run is mainly salmon.
Some bows follow to eat the eggs the salmon lay.

It gets a decent run, usually starts in October and goes right thru spring.

Usually is. But when I was up there last weekend the river is very low. Upstream from the old train bridge. Try downstream of it.

I was upstream from Benmiller yesterday and the river was low and clear. Not a salmon in site where I was but drifted a leach to a nice 3lb smallmouth I spotted.

The salmon run in the maitland isn’t what is use to be. Now the bow run can still be good. You’re timing has to be right and you need to know the river.
